But do not worry about the color too much. Just buy the ones that are on sale. They appear to only differ in color. You will need to put a crib sheet over the mattress - because accidents happen. And while you can remove and wash the outer layer of the mattress, it is not very practical. Where does the baby sleep when you wash and dry it? So, buy the Nook mattresses that are on sale, do not worry about the color and spend the extra $150-$200 on a Nook crib sheet in the color and theme you like.
